What is CBD Oil Good For?

Is CBD Oil Legal?
CBD oil is completely legal in the UK as long as it contains less than 0.2% THC. THC is the compound found in cannabis and hemp that give the plant its intoxicating ‘high’ effect. How is CBD Oil Manufactured?
CBD oil is manufactured by extracting CBD from the buds and flowers of the hemp plant. This extract is then added to a carrier such as hemp seed or MCT oil, since in its raw, resin-like form, CBD is not easy to take, Once combined with a carrier oil, the result is a gold, clear or green liquid that is CBD oil. Flavourings can be added if required, for a more palatable taste. In oil, CBD is far easier to dose and can be used straight out of the bottle.
Which CBD Oil Should I Start With?
Our two most popular CBD oils are our 1000mg CBD Blackcurrant MCT Oil Spray and 500mg CBD Dropper. The spray head offers an easier method of application whilst the pipette dropper can be micro-dosed upwards more conveniently. While your choice of flavour is entirely down to preference, the plain oils (250mg, 500mg, 1000mg and 2000mg CBD) are more versatile, should you want the options of oral consumption under the tongue (direct from the spray head or pipette mentioned above), adding the oil to food & drink or applying CBD oil topically.
How Do I Take CBD Oil?
CBD oil is usually taken sublingually, which means it is absorbed under the tongue. To take CBD sublingually, simply spray or drop your CBD oil beneath your tongue. Does CBD Oil Taste Bad?
The taste of CBD oil is often described as earthy or grass-like. This taste comes from the natural compounds found in hemp plants, including terpenes, flavonoids, and cannabinoids, which contribute to the overall flavor of the oil. The reason CBD oil has a unique taste is due to these natural compounds and the extraction process. Why Do I Take CBD Under The Tongue?
Taking CBD under the tongue, or sublingually is the most efficient and fastest way into your system. By holding CBD oil under your tongue for a few minutes, the CBD within will be more quickly absorbed into the bloodstream. Taking CBD sublingually ensures that you are getting the best bioavailability and thus more accurate CBD doses. (Bioavailability refers to the percentage of CBD absorbed into the bloodstream)
Will CBD Oil Work If Swallowed?
Yes, CBD oil will work however it’s ingested, but to a lesser extent. It will still be absorbed into the bloodstream even if you accidentally swallow your CBD oil, but it then goes through your digestive system which is a less efficient way to take CBD and offers lower bioavailability. CBD oil is safe to swallow, just a less accurate way to dose CBD compared to taking it sublingually.
When Should I take CBD Oil?
Everyone is different – however the most satisfied CBD users remember to stick to a chosen daily dose and keep taking CBD regularly. It’s quite safe to increase the dosage until you find your balance. However, there is no particular regime or ‘right time’ to take CBD oil as everyone’s needs are different. CBD can be dosed as and when the user desires. Many users prefer to take CBD twice a day, perhaps in the morning and in the evening or before bed. This is a simple and easy way to dose and fits into the majority of lifestyles.
How Long Does It Take For CBD Oil To Work?
